In the last few years, legislation and political frameworks have moved very quickly in the direction of forcing more and more digital frameworks and digitization into public institutions – daycare centers, schools and after-school programs. At the same time, there is an absence of policy frameworks and rules to shield children from screens. There are still very few political guidelines for healthy screen consumption, both in Denmark, abroad and from the EU. WHO's guidelines are still one of the few.
